Job Description:
We are inviting an experienced Science Teacher to lead our specifically designed engineering camp for 10-15-year-olds. This STEM track of camp will be focused on entry-level computer science and physics education, combined with essential programming/experimental elements. The teacher will facilitate an engaging learning environment, leading to students producing an academic essay and hands-on project.
Key Responsibilities: • Implement a pre-designed engaging curriculum in Engineering and Science suitable for 10-15-year-olds, with the option to modify it if experienced in informal learning settings. • Conduct hands-on experiments and projects to enhance students' understanding. • Guide students through the process of researching and writing an academic essay. • Assess students’ progress and provide constructive feedback. • Collaborate with teaching assistants for effective lsearning support. • Manage classroom logistics to ensure a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment. • Curriculum Flexibility: Teachers with experience in informal learning settings are welcome to create or modify the STEM camp curriculum with support from experienced learning designers. Those with traditional teaching experience will have a comprehensive lesson plan to follow. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Education, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred. • Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience, preferably in STEM fields. • Solid knowledge of Engineering and Science, especially computer science or physics. • Proficiency in guiding students through research and essay writing. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to foster an engaging and inclusive educational atmosphere. • For teachers with informal learning setting experience, curriculum design skills are desirable. • First aid and child safety certification is advantageous.
College Student Teaching Assistant (TA) for STEM Camp
Job Description:
We are looking for a dynamic College Student Teaching Assistant to assist in our engineering camp designed for 10-15-year-olds. The TA will support the lead Science Teacher in delivering content on Aerospace and Astrophysics and in guiding students through experimental activities and academic writing.
Key Responsibilities: • Assist the lead teacher in preparing and delivering lesson plans and experimental activities. • Provide individual support to students during research and essay writing. • Assist in managing classroom dynamics and logistics. • Help in evaluating students' assignments and providing feedback. • Ensure a safe and productive learning environment for all students. Requirements: • Currently enrolled in a college program related to Science, Engineering, Education, or a relevant field; undergraduate juniors or seniors preferred. • Academic background in science and engineering, perferablly in Comuoer science，Aerospace， Astrophysics or related field. • Previous experience as a TA, tutor, or in a similar educational role is desirable. • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with young students. • Energetic, patient, and passionate about teaching and mentorship. • Basic understanding of pedagogical methods and child development is a plus.

Role Overview: Summer Camp Mentors at Yes！ And… Education plays an important role in orchestrating an enriching camp experience. Mentors will oversee a variety of dynamic workshops and activities, ensuring each camper can explore their passions in drama, music, dance, fine arts, programming, and sciences within a supportive American campus setting.

Qualifications: • A genuine enthusiasm for working with children and a passion for arts and/or STEM education. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire young learners. • Experience in teaching, mentoring, or camp management is highly regarded. • A collaborative spirit, able to work well in a multicultural team environment. • A dedication to creating a lasting positive impact on students' lives.
